Greetings
Hon. Chief Justice:
In reviewing Sections 82.021 of the Texas Government Code, we
find that only the Texas Supreme Court may issue licenses to practice law in the
State of Texas; and, before receiving such a license, each person admitted to
practice shall take an oath.
Moreover, section 82.037(b) also requires that the oath shall be
endorsed on the license, subscribed by the person taking the oath, and
attested by the officer administering the oath.
Kindly provide us with
directions for obtaining a certified true and correct copy of the oath as
subscribed by Mr. Waymon G. DuBose,
Jr., Texas Bar card number #06152000.
Our authority for requesting this information is the McDade Act at 28 U.S.C. 530B and the Civil RICO statute at 18 U.S.C. 1964(a).
Because time is now of the essence in this matter, we would
greatly appreciate it if you would request the Clerk of Court to expedite your
official reply to this request. See
Tenth Circuit appeal #07-2017.
Thank you very much, Chief Justice, for your professional consideration.
Sincerely
yours,
/s/ Paul
