Clairvoyance Corporation develops technology for text analysis and information and message management—capabilities that have been developed and refined over a period of twelve years since the inception of work as the CLARIT project at Carnegie Mellon University in 1988.

Clairvoyance software is distinguished by its use of extremely fast natural language processing and selective elements of information science, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling to create efficient decision support mechanisms. Core modules interoperate seamlessly to support such functionality as filtering, prioritization, and summarized reporting of text messages.

Clairvoyance is home to a team of scientists and engineers whose areas of expertise range over computer science, software engineering, mathematics, linguistics, computational linguistics, physics, fuzzy logic, artificial intelligence, and information science.
