Diamondback Correctional Facility (CCA)
The Diamondback Correctional Facility is located in Watonga, Oklahoma. Watonga, Okla., is located 65 miles northwest of Oklahoma City in Blaine County. The facility was constructed in 1998 and houses 2,160 medium custody inmates. Owned and operated by the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), who specializes in the design, building and management of prisons, jails and detention facilities and providing inmate residential and prisoner transportation services in partnership with government. CCA offers a variety of rehabilitation and educational programs, including basic education, life skills and employment training and substance abuse treatment. The Company also provides health care (including medical, dental and psychiatric services), food services and work and recreational programs. CCA has approximately 66,000 beds in 65 facilities, including 38 owned facilities, under contract for management in 20 states and the District of Columbia.
