      "The Storm is Breaking"

It's not a mutiny.

It's just that the captain is drunk
with power and arrogance and crime,
on top of all the coke.

Now, a huge storm is coming.

The helm unmanned.

The Ship of State will founder,
unless We steer her straight.

The crew jumping overboard.

The sails torn and tattered.

The rudder loose.

The rigging frayed.

The foremast tempest tossed,
as frothing surf embraces the foresail.

Neptune growls from dark blue depths,
swallowing flesh and bone.

We lash ourselves to the helm,
and pray for guidance.
