They requested a fax copy of the original and anonymous fax I had received twice. In response, I faxed them 8 pages, including the original fax, my hard copy letter to the AG, and a hard copy of the Internet message I have already broadcasted. I think we might do well to steer this event in the direction of better dialogue with Washington State officials. What better opportunity to explore better communication? I hope you all agree. I just have to laugh, because so many government officials are now accusing Americans of the very same things they themselves are doing. (This is a BIG HINT for all you legal eagles out there, from someone now in the trenches :) I told the AG's office I was irked by the fact that two (2) copies of Schmidt's memo had been faxed to me anonymously. Had I been the victim of "paper terrorism," then? Or is this a crime which can only be committed AGAINST government employees? They agreed that this was not proper. By comparison, we have programmed our fax machine to annotate all out-going faxes with "Supreme Law Firm" and the originating telephone number. If this function should ever fail, please call our office immediately, and we will do our best to fix it asap (e.g. power failure, etc.) Our fax machine is powered by two UPS devices, wired in series. >From the tone of our very brief conversation, I got the impression they are investigating, although I did not pry. Our time on the phone was very short, and very courteous. They are to be congratulated for investigating, as opposed to ignoring the matter entirely. Let's hope, and pray, that something very good comes out of this event. Ironically, I do agree with certain isolated statements in Schmidt's attachment. Specifically, an Oath of Office does not constitute a competent waiver of the Right to remain silent, under the Fifth Amendment, imho. See my OFFER TO PROVE RACKETEERING, for details. A copy of this document has been mailed to the Washington State AG's office, as a case in point. Perhaps it is time to begin asking IF outside forces are asserting "undue influence" on the office of the Washington State Patrol? This kind of thing has happened before, e.g. ADL infiltration in the San Francisco city and county police department. FYI: that is my currently active hypothesis, i.e. undue influence. /s/ Paul Mitchell http://supremelaw.com At 02:20 PM 9/30/97 -0700, you wrote: ><snip> >> >>From: "Harold Thomas" <harold@halcyon.com> >>To: jus-dare@freedom.by.net, piml@mars.galstar.com, rj@drtavel.com >>Date: Tue, 30 Sep 1997 13:45:41 +0000 >>Subject: Paper Terrorism Followup >>Reply-to: harold@halcyon.com > >> >>All, >> >>I just spoke with Washington State Representative Karen Schmidt's >>office early this afternoon.
