Hello,

What is your authority for this grammar rule?

My favorite grammar rule was this one, found
in my 5th grade "grammar" school grammar book:

"A preposition is a word you never end a sentence with."

:)

/s/ Paul Mitchell

p.s. Substance always prevails over form.

And, upon hearing this rule, Winston Churchill said,
"Madame, that is an objection, up with which
 I shall not put."

Whereupon, the lady of the night with whom Winston was
drinking, said, "Oh, Winston, you are so drunk."

In response to which, Winston retorted, without delay,
"Madame, I may be drunk, but you are ugly.
And I shall be sober in the morning!"
