Dear Wes,

Thanks very much, Wes. You are
a Prince for sharing this with me.
I called my ISP and they haven't
heard any reports of size problems
with the Eudora inbox. So, I
moved:

IN.MBX
IN.TOC
OUT.MBX
OUT.TOC
TRASH.MBX and
TRASH.TOC

into subdirectory ERROUT.FOL,
created a new mailbox to access
these mail boxes, but only when
needed;

then I reinstalled Eudora Pro
with all new mail boxes, and
everything started working
again. It has been very shaky
all day, however, and I am
not the only one experiencing
problems. A close associate
in Georgia is getting frequent
bounces. Her tech support are
no help whatsoever.

I will keep your ideas for
future reference.

Do you happen to know the
data structure for the
Eudora inbox and outbox?

/s/ Paul Mitchell
