: I have as close personal friends a couple who joined "Save a Patriot", an organization that says U.S. citizens don't have to pay the income tax, however, after several years of answering mail from the IRS, having liens and levies placed on property, and trying to deal with those problems, it is my belief that the non-resident alien status is the correct one for Christians born in America. (We are in this world but not of this world.) It seems that a lot of their problems were caused by claiming to be "U.S. citizens".

Save-A-Patriot has chosen to fall silent
in the face of Appendix W in the book
"The Federal Zone: Cracking the Code
of Internal Revenue", now in its seventh
edition. This Appendix was a well written
and very respectful challenge to one of
the points S-A-P made in one of their
newsletters. I believe they committed
themselves too early, and now they would
have to explain their mistake to too many
people. This is not something they are
willing to do, evidently. They have
licensed attorneys on their staff.
