Does anyone have an opinion as to what a form 2050 from the IRS means.?
The form suggest that I phone them to discuss supposed taxes owed from 1980 & 1996.
This is an unsigned letter by an M.Brown (upper and lower case letters in name)
to me, where they used all upper case letters in my name. They claim
that they sent letters (A LIE) to me and since I never responded to
them they say they have sent my file over to collections. They say I must
contact them within ten days with payment in full (NO AMOUNT MENTIONED)
or call their office and have a chat with them. I guess what I would like
to know is what the heck is an IRS letter 2050 (REV 9-92) that has real carbon
for a copy on the second page. Thanks for the help.
