Subject: GCI-WEB PAGE COMMENT FORM
Hi John,
Thanks for the prompt reply. We are slowly
building an Internet-based school of constitutional
law, called the Supreme Law School. It enjoys
a fast growing document database known as the
Supreme Law Library. We are seeking a reliable
and efficient ISP which can assist us with the
manifold aspects of this effort. Locally, we
need an ISP in Tucson which can handle 56K dial-up
access over U.S. Robotics modems, connected to two
(2) custom Intel 586 machines running Windows 95/OSR2
and 20 gigabytes of fast hard disk. We currently
have a secure web server in Atlanta, and would like
to explore a back-up and/or "mirror" site, which
can provide alternative access, if and when the
Internet gets overloaded. We have been testing
IBM.NET, and their tech support is not up to par;
also, we have proof that they are throttling
their FTP transfers via Netscape (50% slower
than Primenet, in a head-to-head controlled test).
Details are available upon request.
Please call me tomorrow, or the following day,
at your convenience. My office telephone number
is:
(520) 320-1514
