Not one said "thanks," or anything even remotely appreciating all the work that went into that broadcast. It took almost 3 hours to cycle through all the names and various lists, and respond to requests like the one above. Perhaps the media have truly forgotten that it was originally the First Amendment which now enables them to broadcast their lies, with total impugnity, while the truth gets slandered on a regular basis. It is, indeed, sad when lies are taken for truth, and truth is taken for lies. Such is the state of America in April of 1997, 5 days after the voluntary income tax deadline. I will continue down this path, because I now see an intense bright Light up ahead. It is a meta-principle, which goes like this: the truth is a precious pearl, and our requests for documents from Our Uncle Sam are petitions to government for redress of grievances. As such, "... the right to petition for redress of grievances occupies a 'preferred place' in our system of representative government and enjoys a 'sanctity and a sanction not permitting dubious intrusions.' [cite omitted] Indeed, 'It was not by accident or coincidence that the rights to freedom in speech and press were coupled in a single guarantee with the rights of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition for redress of grievances.'" [U.S. v. Hylton, 710 F.2d 1111 (5th Cir.)] If we cannot know what our government is doing to itself, we cannot perform our moral obligation to steer the helm, when the course needs corrective action. Our Ship of State is a sieve at sea that's riddled with loop-holes and sinking fast. /s/ Paul Mitchell http://www.supremelaw.com At 02:26 AM 4/20/97 -0400, you wrote: > >-> SearchNet's SNETNEWS Mailing List > > > you write: > There.
