I thought "quote marks" were '"' and "'" and "`". I really do prefer that these ">" symbols remain, so that I can determine message generation. Otherwise, I can't tell who wrote what, which might be important; it is to me. Of course, if this is not important to you, go for it!! :) BTW, I wasn't aware there is a version 3.02 for Eudora. I thought the latest was 3.0.2(16) for Windows 3.1. Is there a 3.02 for Windows 95/NT/97? One of our consultants told us numerous horror stories about OSR2 with FAT32. That was enough to keep me at 3.11, until the dust clears. Bill Gates forgot about memory management, again, when the problem was solved throughout the industry in 1980. Ask DEC about the VAX architecture. They weren't the first, either. PRIMOS was the first truly virtual operating system. I am sorry to date myself, but Gates is a monopolist (see the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, for starters). /s/ Paul Mitchell http://www.supremelaw.com At 08:33 PM 5/31/97 GMT, you wrote: > >-> SearchNet's SNETNEWS Mailing List > >Peter >I want to thank you for starting to forward messages without the leading >line quote marks. >I hope that everyone will check their mail programs to see if there is any >way to turn off the quote marks when you are forwarding or reforwarding >messages.
